A Brief History
After leaving General Electric in 1975 and having acquired a Masters degree in electrical engineering and business, Gerald Seaman took everything he had along with a SBA loan to build a marina facility in man-made Port Canaveral.
Opening the doors in September of 1976, Cape Marina was one the first and largest lease holders in Port Canaveral.
Throughout the years, the marina has grown to encompass almost 10 acres of land, has 115 wet dockage slips, 100 rent-able mini-storage units, and a complete active and inactive yard space with dry storage included.
In 2011, Cape Marina added both a game room and a pool to our list of amenities. We continue to grow and fight hard to remain the independent family business we all know and love.
At 45 years in business, Cape Marina and its crew thanks all of our loyal customers and look forward to a continued bright future.
